After a full moon and the election…

So last night was the last full moon of the decade…and a night of election results that have left so many of stunned and shocked.

I’m in tears. Years of campaigning to save our local hospital is down the pan. Years of lots of things ate down the pan.

The Tory machine will go on, reducing our health care, making the rich richer, etc etc.

Jeremy Corbyn was not the right man to lead the Labour party. He courts controversy and is an anti-Semite. He hates the existence of Israel.

I never wanted my blog to be political. I have nothing to say, nothing to offer but my company.

I've read poetry since I was nine and have written creatively since I was fourteen (probably long before that). After writing book reviews and social comment, I decided I wanted to write poetry. I have no formal training, but I surround myself with poets and their writing. I am honing my craft.
I have two published collections which I don't feel good about, but have been published by and other publications. I live on the south coast of England with my daughter. I am seriously ill.
