Trip to Southampton…

So today was the day I was waiting for. To breathe better. Oh that did not happen.

I had blood taken to measure my blood gases, they read the gadget I wore to bed last night, and my cough was measured.

Maybe 15 minutes clinical time.

I need to go back to to get a cough assistant. It will help me clear my chest. Apparently, I use it for a minute each day.

I've read poetry since I was nine and have written creatively since I was fourteen (probably long before that). After writing book reviews and social comment, I decided I wanted to write poetry. I have no formal training, but I surround myself with poets and their writing. I am honing my craft.
I have two published collections which I don't feel good about, but have been published by and other publications. I live on the south coast of England with my daughter. I am seriously ill.

I am sorry Chrisssie. I actually know what it feels like to be alone but I had God in my life. That is what kept me going. I know we still have to deal with the sadness, loneliness and pain but that is what got me through some of the worse times of my life.

I don’t begin to know what you are going through but I know that I care and I have love in my heart for all people. I think there are some amazing people in this community for example. I pray you will find the strength to hang in there and believe there can be a silver lining in your future. Life can be pretty amazing. Sending prayers for a silver lining in yours. Love ❤️ Joni

I am sorry you are suffering. I can’t imagine what is like not to be able to breathe. I also understand the desire to be rid of these bodies when you have faith. I am praying for a better week ahead. Bless you Chrisssie. Love ❤️ and blessings and prayers for healing. ❤️Joni
